This year, 2023, there is a primary for Republican Mayoral candidates as well as for Ward 1 council.
Tallmadge democrat voting citizens outside of Ward 1 do NOT need to take part in the primary or they may risk changing political affiliation.
Democrat voting citizens in Ward 1 have a primary between Democrat incumbent Ward 1 Councilman Craig Sisak and new Democrat candidate Ted Roy. Residents are encouraged to speak with each candidate to learn more about them before the primary.
As we get closer to November 2023 we will release a comprehensive voting guide! Candidates such as Carol Siciliano-Kilway, Jessica Epstein, and Mary Gutman will not be placing yard signs until it gets closer to the November election.
